N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) is required for the body to produce glutathione, which plays a critical role in almost every cellular process in the body. Glutathione is an antioxidant and a cofactor for other antioxidants, neutralizes free radicals, helps regulate cell cycles, and more. Glutathione deficiency has many negative health implications and age-accelerating effects.

In addition to enabling the production of glutathione, NAC itself has various beneficial effects. It is a mucolytic (breaks down and thins mucus in the body), has a protective effect on the liver and immune system, boosts mitochondrial function, and more.

Ojas NAC provides a potent dose of NAC to support glutathione synthesis and help support healthy antioxidant status.

Ingredient Highlights

Ojas NAC's only active ingredient is pure N-Acetyl-Cysteine.
